It’s that time of year for our Annual General Meeting and, as always, we include a demonstration by one of our members to tempt you to come!

| 10.00 am | tea/coffee |
| 10.30 am | AGM |
| 12.45 pm | lunch |
| 1.45 pm | Kate Reynolds |
| 4.00 pm | demonstration finish |
Kate, born in 1961 and based in Norfolk, studied on a foundation course in Art and Design at Ipswich School of Art from 1978-1980 and at Brighton Polytechnic (now the University of Brighton) from 1980-1983, gaining a B.A. (hons) degree in 3D Design, wood, metal, plastics, ceramics and a Master’s in 3D design, ceramics, from Cardiff Institute between 1983-1984.
Kate makes sculptural ceramics on the theme of the human head and figure, using the profile and outline to create her forms, which are simple and direct. She also makes press moulded platters and tiles which she decorates with slips and oxides.
‘The impulse in my work is to create ceramic pieces, which are simple in outline and capture and evoke an essence of a face or head.’
We try to keep the AGM part of the day as short as we can, so you can enjoy the demonstration. The Agenda for the AGM isย HERE and reports from the Committee members are HERE. Should you be unable to attend the AGM, you can download and submit a proxy voting form from our website as either a PDF or Word document. You must complete the form, sign and return it to the Secretary (Viv Burns) by Friday 15th May 2026.
Display of members work: We would like to see your current creations – itโs always nice to see what people are making.
โExchange and Martโ: There will be a table for small items for sale or exchange
Lunch: To take part in our pot luck lunch, please bring a plate of food to share, either savoury, salad or cake, placing it on the table when you arrive. Cold food only please. Alternatively bring your own lunch. Donโt forget to bring a mug! We still need volunteers to take cling film etc. off shortly before lunch and to set up the urns and cups for tea and coffee (so people can help themselves). Cakes will be served at lunchtime, to avoid crumbs later in the day! We also need volunteers to help set up from 9am and pack away at the end of the day.
Queries about lunches, please contact Rose at rose.brettingham.ceramics@gmail.com
Directions: Mundford is at the junction of the A134 and A1065, north of Thetford. The Village Hall postcode is IP26 5DW
