Welcome to Anglian Potters

Coronavirus update

As everything is closing down and we are asked to isolate, one of the few things we can enjoy is working with clay!  Already, several of the major summer events have been cancelled, our Spring Exhibition in Norwich won't be going ahead, and we suspect that this is only the beginning.  So, we will try to find things to help our members.

We're investigating setting up an online exhibition that can be promoted through social media. Following the announcements made by the Government, we have closed the AP Clay Stores until further notice. Clay is an essential supply for us, but, unfortunately, it's not covered by the definition, so we have had to stop trading immediately.  We are sorry about this, but we have to ensure the health and safety of our volunteers and members, and do our bit to suppress this virus, as I'm sure you will all agree.

Stay safe and well.  Working with clay is good for you!

 About us

Anglian Potters is a lively and thriving organisation that aims to provide the opportunity for members to meet and share their experience and enthusiasm about clay.  Anglian Potters is run entirely by volunteers from the membership - so please do bear this in mind when interacting with any of our services - demo days, clay stores, etc. -  someone is giving up their time to help you!

You can see the work of our members on the showcase pages, and find out how to get in touch with them.

There is news about Anglian Potters events, and news provided by members.

We run exhibitions throughout the year, and join in with other public events around our region.

If you want to learn about ceramics, there are many courses run by members.

We run several day events per year, with nationally and internationally known potters demonstrating and talking about their work.

There is a password protected area for members, which includes membership renewal and updating, news about member only activities and information about our clay stores and other member facilities.
