Fancy your hand at making moulds for pottery? This is your chance to join Mark Marchant on a one day course where he’ll teach you the basics of making drop, hump and slump moulds.
You will each take home 2 moulds which will have made under the guidance of a master mould maker.
Mark began as an apprentice Mouldmaker for Wedgwood in Barlaston. He worked for them as a Blocker and Caser for the best part of 17 years in total before leaving to begin his own freelance Mouldmaking business. In the past 3 years he has worked for famous artists, ceramicists, designers and big brand companies. Currently he’s in partnership with the World famous Portmeirion Group.
