I look after the Pop-Up Shop on the high street in Newmarket. It is run by Newmarket Charitable Foundation.
I want to pull together an ‘Artist’s Week’ in August this year and draw together up to 4-5 artists who are interested in showing their work and creating a mini gallery for a week – possibly two. The shop space is relatively large so can accommodate a group of artists. It also has a storage area, accessible loo and kitchen with microwave and fridge. The cost of the shop is £200 flat cost – no further expenses. Therefore, with a group of artists, the cost can be split between them which hopefully makes it a cost effective way of sharing the space and showcasing their work. If the August week is not of interest, but the general concept is, please do get in touch with any dates to suit for 2027.
