Hi I am the Group Lead Volunteer from 1st Doddington Scout Group in Cambridgeshire; we are all volunteers within the group.
The amazing and dedicated team we have provide a huge variety of Scouting experiences and adventures for approx. 140 young people aged 4 and above, including weekly section meetings, and multiple events such as camping, water activities, hikes, etc!
Our aim is to help young people develop Skills For Life. We are currently raising funds towards a week long Scout camp in Holland in August 2026. We plan to take over 90 people on this amazing adventure, which will include visiting Amsterdam & Rotterdam. Approx. 70 young people, aged 10y and above, will benefit from this incredible experience. They will be supported by 22 adults who are all volunteers.
We are fundraising in order to keep the costs as low as possible and therefore the trip as accessible as possible to families. I hope you don’t mind me asking if you might be able to support our fundraising efforts? We are holding a Christmas Family Bingo evening on 22nd November, and are seeking prizes for the Bingo as well as the raffle we are holding that evening too. If you would be able to donate anything to support our efforts, we would be extremely grateful.
