Swaffham Potter
I make individual and functional pottery for everyday use in the home. The stoneware pots are fired in a reducing atmosphere to a temperature of 1300c. I use a combination of Oriental glazes in a contemporary manner, sometimes layering one over another with wax resist. I hope the decoration that I use enhances the form and reflects my personality.
Glaze experimentation is ongoing and travel to Japan has further influenced my work.
I am an associate member of the Craft Potters Association and a member of the Norfolk Contemporary Craft Society.
