Sue Eyre Ceramics

I am a recent convert to the joys of ceramics. I’m East Anglian born and bred and now live in the beautiful Suffolk town of Clare but my heart belongs in North Norfolk where we love to spend time with Mortimer, our cocker spaniel walking the glorious beaches. My love of the coast is reflected in my ceramics, whether it be quirky wild swimmers, characterful fishermen, beach huts or textural fossil bowls.

All my ceramics are hand built and I relish a new sculptural challenge. I also love the jeopardy of glazing, never really knowing how glazes will behave is so interesting. Very recently we have constructed our own raku kiln, and I’m relishing the opportunity to expand my ceramics knowledge further.
