Liz Deeks

Textures and mark making are the key decorative methods in my work.  Seedheads and stylised wildflower motifes are used on handbuilt work, while thrown work has texture added through slips and roulettes.  Work is almost entirely functional and either vapour fired with a 50/50 mix of salt and soda or fired in a standard oxidation kiln to stoneware.
