Donnas Peterson

Clay had been my chosen mode of artistic expression, self taught,  fulfilling special requests and private commissions previously from my bricks and mortar gallery. This led me along many and diverse paths of personal exploration and discovery. In the process has enabled the acquisition of diverse skills and specialist skills such as mold making which has enabled me to slip-cast multiples of my pieces too.

My work is varied, each sculpted piece produced from start to finish, hand built using traditional techniques before being decorated by hand and finally fired in electric kiln.

When not sculpting in wet clay,  I enjoy using my Wacom Cintiq 16 to sketch and print out comical birthday/xmas cards for family and friends.  I love creating animations of a cartoon style too.  I also paint in acrylics on board and occasionally have prints of my original paintings for sale.
