My main ceramic methods are hand-building and slip-casting. I use a wide range of decoration techniques but my main focus is on raku firing for the crackle and smoke effects.

I am influenced by patterns of the natural environment, landscape history and old cultural beliefs. Currently, I am working on collections of ideas, colours and symbols of seasonal cycles and the wheel of the year.
