Jacky Willoughby

I (Jacky) am a hobby potter and I love hand-building wacky ceramics together with my husband John in our little garden studio.

We have become known as Crazy Chicken Ceramics due to, you guessed it – my crazy chickens!

John, a retired engineer, is into more detailed work such as rockets and robots.

For quite a while, we had been collecting ceramics and visiting shows such as Potfest, where we had been inspired by the amazing work of so many talented potters out there.

After years of wanting to take up pottery, we finally started having lessons at Spring Studios and were introduced to Anglian Potters by our teacher Claudia Singer. We find working with clay very therapeutic and extremely enjoyable.
