Making pots is not my day job, far from it, but it has been a slow-burning passion for 20 years or so. I handbuild: slabs, coils and pinch pots from various flavours of clay, fired to stoneware temperatures. I decorate with slips, oxides, underglazes and glazes, trying to preserve and accentuate the rough and the smooth.
