Debbie Harding

I am an artist currently working with clay and learning to handbuild, exploring jar/pot/vessel forms and their surfaces. Underlying themes are of ancient peoples, origins, journeys.
I am documenting this current work to a dedicated Instagram account (@allinthe.art) to show how this body of artwork gradually comes into being. I sense this will be work over several years.
I feel arts and creativity are very important for people to actively experience and make non-rational discoveries in a world where this mode of learning is increasingly sidelined.
I work/have worked with a variety of materials and processes; photography, paper, book arts and the written word, glass, built sculpture, and natural or recycled materials.
