Charly Hamlyn Ceramics

I was based just outside Cambridge but I am now setting up a pottery studio on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides.

I am drawn to simple forms in functional pottery. I like to make pieces that invite you to hold them and entice your eye with the interplay of glazes and carving. My work is mainly wheel-thrown stoneware.
