Catherine Dodds

I work mainly in terracotta, but fired high enough to enjoy stoneware glazes. I throw functional ware on the wheel in small batches, and use reclaim for my sculptural pieces. I have been a fine artist, graphic designer, bookbinder and paper conservator, but clay is what I’ve ended up with. I do like a mess! My ideas have evolved over the years, and I’m always chasing the ultimate shape or glaze. I hope I never find them, experimentation is life!
