Andy Wright

Andy’s work can best be described as being ’from the sublime to the ridiculous’.

For sublime he makes simple pieces of pottery developed from simple designs.

For the ridiculous, he dreams up and then creates highly impossible, yet somewhat plausible, machines that, at times, require complex construction to a point that it even pushes  the boundaries of the clay itself.

Unfortunately in early 2024 Andy lost the use of the pottery facilities at the Woodbridge Art Club and is currently taking an enforced break from pottery.
