We are a group of masters and PhD alumni who are fundraising to set up The Gwen Heeney Centre for the Arts, based in the West Midlands. We are concerned about the lack of professional ceramics, glass, print and textiles courses in the area and also that traditional skills are being lost.
We’re fundraising to set up this arts centre to enable students to learn these skills and are looking for donations of work to sell at our fundraising auction being run by Will Farmer (from Antiques Roadshow).
