Gwyn Durand-Grace

I’m a Norfolk based potter with a special interest in wheel thrown altered forms, however, living and working in Norfolk with it’s wonderful coastlines and rugged landscape I can’t help but be drawn into experimenting and playing with other forms and techniques using this amazing medium. 

My work is very heavily influenced by nature and my personal challenge is to try and bring to life my interpretation of its beauty  – you could say clay is a bit of an obsession!

I own and run Fire and Flux Ceramics in Norwich City Centre, an exclusively ceramics gallery, established in 2016, exhibiting and selling a wide and varied range of contemporary studio ceramics and I feel hugely privileged to have such talented, well-respected and renowned ceramicists exhibiting with us.

There are also studios work-station rentals on the first floor for potters working independently and the second floor is where we run regular pottery classes and workshops to most levels.
