Ros Arrowsmith

I am a Norfolk based potter, specialising in wheel-thrown stoneware. I make functional, beautiful objects for everyday use. I am always experimenting with different decorations and techniques and am currently exploring splashes and drips, as well as manipulating surfaces by facetting them.

I first discovered the exciting properties of clay and ceramics during my BA(hons) Decorative Arts at The Nottingham Trent University, where I specialised in ceramics.

Following my degree I lived in London, Japan and Spain, finally returning to Norfolk where I work in my studio in Norwich.

I have made plates for restaurants and enjoy working on dinner service commissions for private customers.

I have exhibited with Craft Festival in Bovey Tracey.
