I make simple, functional pieces in stoneware. I’m interested in the subtle depths and complexity that clay and glaze can achieve and would love to expand my knowledge of glazes.

In a world of immediacy, the repetitive slowness in the throwing and turning of clay into functional pieces is really grounding and peaceful, it’s my happy place.

I’ve joined as I’d like to be part of a community of makers and not just a man in shed 🙂

I’d like to fix my pottery wheel and one day go to Japan – not with my wheel – especially if it is still broken.
