Rachel Reid

I am more sculptor than potter but I’m learning. My background is in human rights activism, research and journalism. I began my artistic journey with clay around 2012, mostly casting figurative work, then spent a few years experimenting with other mediums. For the past couple of years I’ve come back to clay, journeying into the wonderful world of ceramics, including some work on the wheel. My partner and I invested in a kiln – he’s turning into the real potter, I’m still mostly interested in scultpural ceramics. We live in Trimingham on the north Norfolk coast.
