Membership types/fees


We have several types of membership available:

Single/Ordinary   £30 per year (£17 per half year)  for an individual

Joint   £50 (half year £27) for two people at the same address

Student   £10 for full-time ceramics students (proof of status required)

Institution    £50 (£27 per half year)  for colleges, workshops etc.  Please contact the membership secretary with details when applying). *See below for the details of Institution membership*

The Membership year runs from June 1st to May 31st

Half year fees are for new members joining after December 1st. New members joining between March 1st and May 31st get 15 months membership for the full year fee.


Institution Membership

There must be a nominated, named representative who will vote for the organisation and be a 'hub' for communication between AP and the group. Any changes must be notified in writing to the membership secretary. (This is a Charity Commission requirement)

The group will only have one vote at the AGM or any other occasion it may be required.

One membership number will be issued

One print newsletter to be sent out

Clay may be purchased from the store by the group/group members 

Group members may attend demonstration days at the normal membership rate

The group can have one Showcase page on the website, which can be used to publish information about the group and it’s individual members. You could list your members here if you want to.

Group members cannot, as individuals, exhibit

Group members cannot attend the annual camp

Group members who wish to be Associates shoud be listed on the group 'Your Details' oage of this website

At any time group members may become full members on payment of the single annual fee
