Keri Lowe - Fibre and Earth Studios
Self taught, my interest in all thing clay started aged 8. I had the most amazing pottery teacher at school. His name was Mr Bell and he encouraged me to just create. I did. I bought my first kiln at 18 and have had one ever since. Now at 51, I still can’t get enough!
Learning by my mistakes ( sometimes monumental!) and my successes (not quite so monumental) my journey and my relationship with clay continues.
I adore Scrafitto, which appeals to the artist in me, while hand building appeals to the technician. I’m new to throwing, which I’ve been doing for a couple of years. Apparently it takes 10,000 hours to become expert at something, so I may have missed that boat!
I don’t have a website, but can be found as Fibre and Earth Studios on Facebook and Instagram and am contactable through both.
