I make contemporary, functional, porcelain pots. I apply coloured slips with a brush, or print onto the clay body before the first bisque firing. I then use underglaze pencil and finally a clear glaze before the glaze firing. I decorate my pots with spontaneous marks and patterns that reflect natural forms, combined with images of everyday objects.
I started a pottery evening class with Rachel Dormor in 2011 and fell in love with throwing porcelain pots.
