The Anglian Potters Ltd Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 6th May, at Mundford Village Hall, starting at 1030am.   The AGM is an important event for AP, as we need to receive and agree various reports on activities and finance, and to elect officers.  Papers relevant to the AGM are available via the AP Website, via this link to the Committee Papers.  The AgendaMinutes of the 2017 AGMRevised ConstitutionElection forms and Proxy voting forms are available for download. You will need to Login to the website to see and download these documents.  Please take the time to look at the papers before the meeting.  If you aren't able to attend, but would like your votes to be registered, please download the Proxy Voting form, sign and send to Jennie Longbottom.  You can nominate someone to act a your proxy, or agree to the Chairman voting for you.

As usual, our AGM day includes a talk and demonstration by one of our members.  This year, we are very pleased that Harvey Bradley will be doing the honours.  Harvey studied silversmithing at Canterbury College of Art. He left Horsey with ATD in 1966 to start a long career in teaching and pottery. An early interest in Kandinsky shaped teaching ideas whilst the oriental/classical styles of the Leach dynasty influenced the pottery. Recently, searching for new expression, these two strands have come together in simple bowl forms and expressive brushwork; reminiscent of musical chords and variations-not quite synaesthesia but perhaps a close relative to it. The personal language is evolving as new brush and jazz rhythms suggest their unique possibilities. Harvey’s pots are thrown and turned on a Leach style kick wheel. More information can be seen at

You can book online by using the form below, or by downloading the booking form from here, and sending it to Trudy.  There is no charge for attending this meeting, but please do book, so we can get a good idea of numbers.

Our events

Our events are generally intended for our members, but we are a very friendly group, and visitors are always welcome.  A few of our events are restricted to members only, such as our potter's camp in August, but if you are interested in ceramics and not sure about joining us, please do come to one of our demonstration days.  You will probably learn something new, and will certainly meet lots of enthusiastic potters.  If you would like to come along, please contact the events organisers, details are shown on our contacts page.

Please note that if you pay via Paypal you should get a receipt from them to confirm your payment, plus an email from us confirming your place.  If you haven't received either of these mails, your booking will not have been paid for.

We don't issue tickets for events.  Any queries should be directed to the Events Organiser.
