Rachael Pedersen - Sudbury
Beginners/intermediate pottery classes, with enthusiastic City and Guilds qualified teacher.
The studio has 2 wheels, tables and tools for hand building, a large variety of e/w and s/w glazes, a large front loading kiln and a top loader, a pugmill and slipcasting moulds.
The studio is available for rent on the days that classes aren't being held, and people can rent the kiln or pay for individual items to be fired. It may also be good for demonstrations or raku days.
I charge £180 for 12 lessons, £140 for 8 lessons or £10 per hour.
It's a very relaxed studio, just come and use the facilities and I'm there to offer suggestions and help if needed, so even more experienced potters may find it is a good course for them economically. Glaze isn't included in the price but basic clay and firing is, up to 4 pieces per lesson.
