Will Illsley

• I trained at Loughborough College of Art and Leicester Polytechnic and have exhibited widely in this country and abroad.
• Most of my posts are made in stoneware, high fired at 1300c in reduction. I occasionally produce some work in pdrcelain and also some in raku. The work broadly falls into two categories - a wide range of domestic ware in several different glazes, some decorated and the production of more individual one-off pieces, ideas for which are drawn from a wide variety of sources.
• A range of this work is always on show at the Torkington Gallery.
