Ron Bridge

• I make both pottery and sculpture. Currently my sculpture is of slab construction using either 'craft crank' or 'T' material fired to cone 10.
• I aim to simplify form but maintain the essential nature of the subject. I like my work to be slightly humourous - it should make you smile.
• For my pottery I mix my own clay - a porcellaneous stoneware; fired in reduction to cone 10. I try to make my decoration 'belong' to the form. It is important to me that my pots ring and that glazes do not craze.
