Maurice Young

• After over 20 years of potting I am still very interested in 'decoration and glazing' on porcelain.
• I have spent numerous years developing crackle glazes and have now turned my attention to crystal glazes. I use Nepheline Syenite and Ferro Frit 3110 as base ingredients mixed with varying amounts of Zinc Oxide, Flint, Titanium Dioxide, China Clay and Alumina.
• I have exhibited my work at the Gowan Gallery, Sawbridgeworth; Brett's Gallery, Hadleigh; The Turnpike Gallery, Petersfield and Primavera, Cambridge.
