David Cooke

• Graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a degree in 3D Design.
• Now work from a studio space at East Street Arts in a converted mill in Leeds.
• Using stoneware clay I create animals, birds and figures, with reptiles a speciality.
• Although many pieces are entirely hand built, I have been experimenting with press moulds as a means of reproducing detail.
• Currently I am developing larger sculptural pieces, combining ceramic and wooden sections with resins and fibre-glass.
