Beryl Hines
- Educated at Northgate Grammar School Ipswich and there
was taught to love clay by Dorothy Kemp.
- I am a thrower and a teacher. Raku, with all its risks
and excitement, has been a major part of my work and I have also done original
research into the techniques of the Roman and Medieval potters. Along with Anglian Potters
membership I exhibit with Suffolk Crafts Society and work with 'Past
Participation' to bring History alive for schools and groups.
- Have held Raku sessions for The Aldeburgh Foundation and
at the Norfolk International Scout Jamboree and The Sainsbury Centre.
