Pat Armstrong

Background
After completing a degree course at Sunderland School of Art and Design in 1990, I set up a studio at my home just outside Stamford, Lincolnshire.
My work has developed from burnished, sawdust fired forms toward an exploration of the raku technique. I am probably best known for my work with high copper lustre raku.
My pots are all thrown, mostly classical in shape, and lend themselves to the spontaneous patterning of raku crackle glazes and the use of lustres.
Visitors are welcome at my studio - but a call first would be appreciated.
