Ickworth Park House and Gardens is a National Trust property located in Horringer, a couple of miles south west of Bury St.Edmunds on the A143 in Suffolk (IP29 5QE). You can find more information about it on the National Trust web site.
The wood sale started as a way to sell trees cut from the Ickworth Parkland estate. Although it still serves this purpose, it has grown so that now the event draws over 5000 visitors to buy a range of crafts and to see craft demonstrations.
Anglian Potters will have their own marquee with over a dozen individual members present to show, talk about and sell their work. In addition there will be various demonstrations of making and firing going on throughout the weekend.
